Creating a Purchase

To create a new purchase, follow these steps:

  1. Click the New Purchase button to initiate a new purchase transaction.

  2. A dialogue box will appear, presenting the following fields:

    • Select Raw Materials: Choose the raw materials from the dropdown list. You can also create a new raw material by selecting the option presented at the top.
    • Select Supplier: Choose the supplier from the dropdown list. You can also create a new supplier by selecting the option presented at the top.
    • Purchase Date: Select the date of the purchase.
    • Due Date: Choose the due date for payment. This field is disabled if the payment type is set to “Paid.” You can provide tips for selecting the due date based on payment type.
    • Payment Type: Select the payment type from “Paid,” “Due,” or “Credit.”
    • Quantity: Enter the quantity of the raw material purchased.
    • Price: Enter the price per unit of the raw material.
    • Currency: Select the currency in which the raw material is purchased.
  3. After filling in all the necessary details, click the Create Purchase button.

  4. Upon creation, the system will automatically adjust inventory stocks and update the purchase records accordingly.

Creating a purchase transaction is quick and straightforward, ensuring accurate tracking of procurement activities and inventory management.
